Skippered Cruising
Take a professional skipper aboard your cruise and ease the pressure on yourself and crew. With one of our experienced skippers aboard, people invariably find their cruise more enjoyable, removing the occasional ‘anxiety tension’ sometimes arising between skipper and crew.
Whether it is to build up your sailing experience, to relax without the responsibility on a great day away or to enjoy a convivial weekend break, we promise to leave you wanting to come back for more. Stag and Hen parties can be great fun, but a respect needs to be retained for the hazards of the sailing environment.
Why not consider having background support during your early cross channel skippering experiences, finding new foreign ports, gaining confidence, learning as you go.
If considering a foreign cruise, then you might consider it important to meet your skipper, before you commit to booking him/her. Generally, this will be possible by arrangement.
Whether using your own boat or charter a boat from a port of your choice, we are happy to provide a fully insured skipper for the trip, or part of it. The choice is yours.
Please note that the yacht must be seaworthy and with sufficient equipment aboard to allow your cruise to be safe! The level of equipment aboard will depend upon the cruising area. If in any doubt, please call us. Minimum safety requirements are outlined in the RYA C8 Boat Safety handbook.
